FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of accelerated decoding of a linear code. In the present method, for decoding binary message information symbols, an iterative multi-threshold decoding of the convolutional or block code is used, wherein before the iterative multi-threshold decoding of the convolutional or block code, additionally calculating and storing, in a separate memory unit, the sums of checks for all decoded information message symbols, then all threshold elements of multithreshold decoder sequentially check sums of checks for information symbols of message and at their lower value compared to established threshold values, threshold elements are switched to decode next information symbols of message, and if they exceed a value in comparison with the set threshold values, the decoded information symbols of message and the related inspections are corrected, wherein, in a separate memory unit, in which sums of checks for all decoded information symbols of message are stored, changing the sum symbol for the decoded symbol and the sum of the checks for those information symbols which use the same checks as the information symbols which are altered by the threshold element, after which threshold element is switched to decoding mode of next message information symbol.
EFFECT: high decoding rate.
