FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of correcting errors during transmission of information. Stream of information symbols is sent to an information register, and the stream of parity symbols is sent to the syndrome register of iterative blocks, symbols from the output of which are sent to the threshold element, which is decoding active decoder element and in which corresponding symbols of syndrome check register are summed. If number of binary or q-ary (q > 2) symbols at inputs of threshold element exceeds number of any other possible identical values of symbols in checks, then changing to opposite symbols in cells of syndrome register, from which signals were taken, and decoded symbol in outermost cells of each iterative unit of information register, as well as corresponding symbols of the difference register. For the selected error correction circuit control is introduced for connection of checks coming to decoding active elements of the decoder, making decisions on information code symbols using threshold elements, as error probabilities decrease in solutions of these active elements, an increasing number of initially unused checks relative to decoded symbols is connected.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of decoding.
