FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of correcting parameters of a mechanism for thermal compensation of a CNC machine (embodiments) and a long-term computer-readable storage medium. In at least one embodiment, the method involves setting a reference object having a drilled hole in the CNC machine and performing a test cycle. Test cycle involves examination of a reference object with a measuring probe of a drilled hole to determine its location relative to an CNC machine tool and performing cycle of operation at idle, including one or more processing processes on CNC machine. Method may additionally include calculation of deviation of drilled hole from initial reference location between drilled hole and CNC machine.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of diagnosing and elimination of faults when evaluating efficiency of mechanisms of temperature compensation of CNC machine.
