SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fasteners used in furniture industry. Fastening element is elongated and comprises a dowel having a head on one end and a catching tightening element when used, having an expander on the other end and a rod extending between them, wherein the fastening element further comprises a sleeve having a divergent section at one end extending above the expander, and the expander is configured to engage with the sleeve when used to create an outwardly directed movement of the divergent section when the dowel axially moves relative to the sleeve. Sleeve has an outwardly projecting ledge on the divergent section, and the divergent section of the sleeve is configured to be installed in the opening of the front surface of the first of the panels, and protrusion on sleeve is made in form of cutting edge extending around dowel with arc-shaped profile, and has sufficient strength for cutting into panel material when using device. Cutting edge is located at the end or near the end of the divergent section of the case. Expanding section of cartridge comprises two or more separately movable sections of fingers, each with cutting edge. Sections of pins are pivotally movable from a position located approximately at one level with front surface of first of panels. Shaft comprises a flange for engagement with the sleeve in a position located at a distance from the expander inside the hole channel of the front surface next to the input when the fastening element is in the set position.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving reliability of connection of elements between each other.
