SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas analysis, in particular to detectors for recording and measuring content of carbon monoxide, and can be used in ecology. Sensor consists of semiconductor base (1), made in form of polycrystalline film of solid solution (CdSe)0.6(ZnTe)0.4 on non-conducting substrate 2.

EFFECT: invention provides, at considerable simplification of sensor manufacturing technology, determination of carbon oxide content with sensitivity several times higher than that of known sensors.
