SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas analysis, in particular to detection devices for recording and measuring carbon monoxide content. Gas sensor according to the invention comprises a semiconductor substrate supported on a non-conductive substrate 2 made of a polycrystalline ZnTe film semiconductor substrate 1.
EFFECT: invention, with a significant simplification of the technology of manufacturing a gas sensor, makes it possible to determine the content of carbon monoxide with a sensitivity several times higher than the sensitivity of known sensors.
