FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas analysis and can be used for environmental monitoring. Sensor includes a semiconductor base and a substrate. Said semiconductor base is made of a polycrystalline film of a solid solution of the composition (CdTe)0.77(CdS)0.23, applied to a non-conductive substrate. Claimed sensor, with a significant simplification of the technology of its production, allows to determine the content of carbon monoxide and has the sensitivity that is several times higher than that of existing sensors. Technical result of the invention is to increase the sensitivity and manufacturability of the sensor. Sensor includes a semiconductor base and a substrate.
EFFECT: technical result is higher sensitivity and manufacturability of the sensor.
