FIELD: sensors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas analysis, in particular, to detecting apparatus for recording and measuring the content of carbon monoxide. Proposed is a semiconductor carbon monoxide sensor consisting of a semiconductor base made in the form of a polycrystalline film of a solid solution of (CdSe)0,7(ZnTe)0.3 and a non-conductive substrate.
EFFECT: while significantly simplifying the technology for manufacturing the sensor, invention increases the sensitivity by multiple times compared to known carbon monoxide sensors.
