FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: intracapsular elastic ring contains as minimum two elements for intraocular lens (IOL) fixation, located in opposite ring segments and made with possibility of nipping haptic IOL elements in them. Elements of ring fixation are made in form of as minimum three teeth, extreme teeth being located in the same plane, and width of fixation elements being less than width of distal end of flat haptic part of IOL.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention will allow to reduce possibility of intra- and post-operational complications in case of implantation of intracapsular ring with elements of fixation by means of flat haptics by optimising their construction.
