FIELD: vehicle equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to accident prevention method and system. Method implemented by the system for prevention of accidents comprises steps of creating a data base on occurring accidents on the remote server before launching the accident risk notification application. Each of the cells of the database contains a list of data on the accident, which includes values of parameters. Time series of values of parameters correspond to previous time intervals. Data of current state of traffic participants are collected, the list of which corresponds to the list of accident data. On the remote server, using the crash risk algorithm, comparing the accident data lists with the current road user data list. If the data match the specified value, the driver is informed about the accident hazard. In case of vehicle hitting accident data list is recorded in data base cell.
EFFECT: prevention of road accidents.
