Method of providing traffic stability and driving safety includes the steps of receiving an image, using a video camera and a synthetic aperture radar, analyzing the presence of a marking or a road stripe, forming a digital radar image and / or a radio hologram of a roadway and objects, located on the roadside to the right and left of the roadway, establishing the edges of the lane, detecting of the car's position, determining the vector speed of the car, extrapolating the trajectory of the car, using the current vector speed, evaluating the probability of an emergency event on the basis of the said extrapolation and activating the vehicle safety devices based on the said estimate.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the vehicle's road-holding ability in difficult meteorological conditions, including on roads with missing or disturbed road marking.
