FIELD: transport traffic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods of controlling active traffic safety in an intelligent transport infrastructure (ITI) of an automobile road, mainly in pre-emergency and emergency road situations. Method of controlling operation of an active safety system of vehicles is carried out using an intelligent transport infrastructure (ITI) of an automobile road, at which prior to movement through track control centers (CC) for each vehicle requesting data and input into database information on identification numbers of each vehicle, availability, technical characteristics and functional parameters of communication means, driver warning means, standard automatic control devices of traction installation, steering device, braking system, transmission, their drives and amplifiers, and during movement of vehicles, standard means of track CC in real time monitor the overall state of the traffic flow, determine for each vehicle its position relative to the axial line of the roadway, possible risks are identified and assessed at movement of each vehicle in folding road environment, as well as digital road map is created and updated with indication of coordinates and values of road signs and traffic lights. In road control centers, technical means of monitoring traffic conditions using additional local and/or distributed sensors of state of movement are scanned, recognition, registration of all moving and fixed objects and determining parameters of their position and movement on lanes relative to road marking, at that, assessment of possible risks for each vehicle is carried out by criteria of compliance with safe performance of speed mode, compliance with average speed of traffic flow, observance of safe selection of distances between vehicles in traffic flow, safe performance of maneuvers during movement of each vehicle in traffic flow, and when detecting occurrence of possible risks for each vehicle using track CC, actions are performed in accordance with evaluation of hazard criteria in at least three stages.
EFFECT: high reliability and efficiency of controlling active traffic safety in the motor transport infrastructure of an automobile road.
