FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to composite materials based on aluminum alloy, which are subject to industrial requirements for high strength, heat resistance, and resistance to abrasive wear and formation of cracks. Composite material based on aluminum alloy contains aluminum oxide with particle size of at least 30 mcm, as well as silicon, manganese, nickel, copper, magnesium, zinc, with the following content of components, wt%: aluminum 66.0–75.8, aluminum oxide 13–20, silicon 9.6–10.4, copper 0.7–1.2, manganese up to 0.2, nickel up to 1, magnesium 0.2–1, zinc up to 0.2.
EFFECT: proposed composition of composite material based on aluminum alloy has high mechanical and service properties on the entire section of the product in combination with low cost.
