FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refractory lining of industrial furnaces of horizontal type. 3D model of lined section of furnace is created. Robotic complex elements comprising a platform, a brickwork manipulator and a control unit are assembled. Separating the common lining zone into sections, scanning the lined section, correcting 3D model of the lined section taking into account the data obtained as a result of scanning. Number of lining cycles is determined. Platform and manipulator are installed for masonry of refractory bricks, lining cycle is performed, furnace is rotated around central axis and repeated order of cycle operations. During the entire lining cycle, updating and adjustment of 3D lining model of the furnace is carried out automatically using a computer program and correcting the standard size and masonry sequence of the refractory bricks using data obtained from the technical vision sensor and the computer program.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce lining with high speed, provides for maximum automation of works and allows to reduce the period of idle stoves required for installation of new lining.
