FIELD: electrical engineering; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology, electrical engineering, electronics, power engineering and biomedicine and can be used in making lubricant and abrasive materials, surface modifiers, and insulating materials for semiconductors and circuit boards. Suspension of aggregates of detonation nanodiamonds has concentration of solid substances of 4 wt. % or more and specific electrical conductivity of 50 mcS/cm or lower in terms of percentage by weight of concentration of solid substances at pH 4–6 and specific electric conductivity of 300 mcS/cm or lower at pH 8–10.5. Aggregates of nanodiamonds are produced by detonation synthesis with air cooling. Said suspension is subjected to disaggregation using a bead mill or ultrasound by adjusting pH to 8 or more to obtain a nanodiamond nanosized nanodiameric dispersion having a solid concentration of 5.2 wt. % or more and specific electrical conductivity of 300 mcS/cm or lower. Nanodiamond particles in said dispersion have a zeta potential of -42 mV or lower at 25 °C.
EFFECT: obtained dispersion is stable at high concentration of solids.
