SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst with addition of a furan compound, to a method for production thereof and use thereof in the field of hydrotreatment and/or hydrocracking. Described is a catalyst for hydrotreatment and/or hydrocracking of hydrocarbon fractions, comprising a substrate based on aluminum oxide, or silicon oxide, or aluminosilicate, at least one group VIII element selected from cobalt and nickel, at least one element of group VIB, selected from tungsten and molybdenum, and a furan compound selected from furfuryl alcohol, 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural, 2-furaldehyde, 5-methyl-2-furaldehyde, 2-acetylfuran, methyl-2-furoate, furfuryl acetate, where the content of the group VIB element, expressed in the group VIB metal oxide, ranges from 5 to 40 wt. % of the total weight of the catalyst, and the content of the group VIII element, expressed in the group VIII metal oxide, ranges from 1 to 10 wt. % of the total weight of the catalyst, and where the content of the furan compound ranges from 1 to 45 wt. % of the total weight of the catalyst.
EFFECT: creation of new catalysts for hydrotreatment and/or hydrocracking with improved characteristics.
