FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as one of the means of diagnosing tubular systems, including in the equipment of thermal power plants for determination of ovals of bends of pipelines. Proposed device comprises composed bearing casing made up of two semi-rings and four clamping units arranged in one plane so that longitudinal axes of each pair of opposite assemblies coincide while axes of adjacent assemblies intersect at right angle. Each of the units comprises a holder with a guide rod and an inductive sensor installed in it. A spring is put on each rod. A carriage is rigidly mounted on the end of each of the rods fixed in the holder. Each carriage serves as a target for the probe stop of the corresponding inductive sensor. At that, all inductive sensors are connected to half-bridge electric circuit so that each of two adjacent active arms of half-bridge includes two diametrically opposite sensors.
EFFECT: accurate measurement of difference of mutually perpendicular diameters with automatic recording of results and possibility of device movement around pipeline axis without disconnection and reinstallation to obtain continuous diagram of measured parameter.
