FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of heat treatment of metals and can be used for production of wear-resistant structures for making working elements of tillage tools from high-strength cast iron HC50. Tool surface is exposed to laser action with beam power P = 1.9 kW and coverage coefficient of laser beam spot 0.3. Processing surface of cutting parts and blades of working elements with multichannel CO2-laser with continuous operation mode. Diameter of the spot of the laser beam in the treatment zone is equal to d = 9 mm. Its displacement speed makes υ = 460 mm/s.
EFFECT: technical result consists in production of pure bleached layer of high hardness with depth of 0,12 mm.
