FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reconditioning of worn-out parts with application of welding and can be used for restoration of working elements of tillers. Method comprises removal of worn-out cutting-and-bladed part of bit, production of overlay plate from steel of rolled stock and its welding to reconstructed bit, hardening of surface of an overlay plate by welding-on of wear-resistant material along entire surface area of an overlay plate, herewith using ball-bearing steel ShH4 of strip rolled stock with width of 12 mm, with thickness of 5 mm, rolling is cut to size of cutting part, welded parallel to cutting part, hardening is carried out by arc welding with direct current of reverse polarity under layer of flux at current intensity of 160-220 A, electrode wire diameter 1.6-2 mm, voltage 30-32 V, build-up rate 20-25 m/h and electrode wire feed rate of 95-110 m/h, and electrode wire of composition is used as wear-resistant material, wt.%: C 2.0; Mn 0.9; Si 1.0; Al 0.6; Cr 9.2; Ni 5.2; Mo 1.0; Fe is the rest, at that thickness of built-up layer makes 1.8-2.2 mm, its hardness makes 59-61 HRC.
EFFECT: invention improves hardness and wear resistance of the reconditioned working members under conditions of intense abrasive wear.
