FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reconditioning of worn-out parts with application of welding and can be used in recovery of bits of deep tillers of tillers. Drilling the worn-out cutting-and-bladed part of the bit is performed, manufacturing of an overlay plate from rolled steel strip and its welding to the reconstructed bit, hardening of the surface of the overlay plate by welding of the wear-resistant material throughout the surface area of the cover plate, wherein ball-bearing steel ShH4 of strip rolled stock with width of 10 mm is used, with thickness of 4 mm, rolling is cut to size of cutting part, is welded parallel to cutting part, hardening is carried out by arc welding with direct current of reverse polarity under layer of flux at current 160-220 A, diameter of electrode wire 1.6-2 mm, voltage 30-32 V, build-up rate 20-25 m/h and wire electrode feed rate 100-125 m/h, and electrode wire of composition is used as wear-resistant material, wt.%: C 2.0; Mn 0.9; Si 1.0; Al 0.6; Cr 9.2; Mo 0.5; Fe is rest, at that thickness of built-up layer makes 1.2-1.6 mm, its hardness makes 59-61 HRC.
EFFECT: invention improves hardness and wear resistance of reclaimed and hardened chisel plows of deep tillers in conditions of intensive abrasive wear.
