FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of heat treatment of metals and can be used for production of wear-resistant structures in production of cutting parts and blades of tillage tools from high-strength cast iron HC50. Tool surface is subjected to laser action with beam power P = 2.2 kW and coverage coefficient of laser beam spot 0.3. Surface is treated with multichannel CO2-laser with continuous operation mode. Diameter of the radiation spot in the treatment zone is equal to d = 9 mm. Laser beam displacement speed υ=490 mm/s.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining a pure bleached layer of high hardness with depth of 0,17 mm.
