SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Portable complex measuring device for measurement of monitored indicators of a user comprises units for measuring indicators, sets of input contacts for receiving input signals, current sensors, an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) connected to the output contact of each measurement unit, a wireless communication device for transmitting data to the smartphone or receiving data from the smartphone, a microcontroller and a built-in power supply. When the portable complex measuring device is not used, the microcontroller operates in sleep mode, and units of monitored indicators measurement, ADC and wireless communication device are disconnected. Microcontroller operates in active mode when receiving output signal of current sensor and controls measurement units of monitored values, ADC and wireless communication device for their connection. Device displays the measured data of the monitored values on the smartphone display and has electrodes for removing the electrocardiogram and a hole for inserting the blood test strip into the housing. Method of measuring indicators is carried out using a portable complex measuring device and smartphone. Selection buttons configured to allow the user to select monitored indicators on the smartphone display when the smartphone application is operating are displayed. Microcontroller of the device is activated using one of the current sensors. Power supply of the measurement unit corresponding to the selected button is switched on and a measurement operation is performed. Measured value is transmitted to the smartphone through the wireless communication device. Measured indicator is displayed on smartphone display and stored in smartphone memory.

EFFECT: automatic selection of only the corresponding measuring circuit in a single integrated measuring device without using a mechanical switch, which enables miniaturization, and when the device is not in use, all circuits, with the exception of current sensors, are disconnected, and only the microcontroller switches to the sleep mode, while during use the microcontroller switches to the active mode and power is supplied only to the target circuit, respectively, power consumption can be minimized.
