FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and agricultural machine building, in particular, to sowing machines for cultivation of sugar beet. Sowing machine includes sowing sections, each of which comprises a hammer to create bed for seeds, tray for toilet paper, one end of roll of which is pressed to rim of sowing wheel plate, seed box, soil covering the paper with unilateral legs, soil balancer and packing roller. Sowing wheel of each section is equipped with a guide wheel installed with it on one axis, and embedding devices. Latter are installed inside the sowing wheel and connected to its rim. Each sealing device has a spring-loaded rod with a stop and a ball located on the end of the rod, and a pneumatic cell of external filling for suction of seeds from a seed box. At the same time, the beads of the embedding devices are installed with the possibility of movement along the outer surface of the guide wheel having a figure decrease for pushing seeds out of the cells of the sealing devices with a rod, which pierces the paper and encloses the seeds into the soil.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to create mechanical protective layer in soil for protection against weeds along whole length of row.
