FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is used in electric power systems. Reactor 5 is a controlled inductance and serves to stabilize network parameter 1. Regulation is performed by changing current of exciter 7. Internal current control circuit is implemented by means of current sensor 4 and regulator 11. It ensures current maintenance at the level specified by limiter 10. Outer circuit is formed by sensor 2 and regulator 9. It maintains the network parameter at the level set by setpoint unit 8. Control essence consists in fact that at exceeding (or equality) of temperature over rated current of reactor should not exceed nominal. But in cold and night time of year reactor cooling is improved and sensor signal 6 decreases. Temperature regulator 12 allows limiter 10 to raise the bar to pass the signal of regulator 9.

EFFECT: technical result consists in stabilization of reactor due to adjustment of current inside reactor.
