FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for assessing the presence of phosphatidylserine on the surface of erythrocyte membranes and can be used in medicine, in laboratory methods of investigation. Disclosed is a method of assessing the degree of presence of phosphatidylserine on the surface of erythrocyte membranes, involving fixation of erythrocytes glutaric aldehyde, characterized by the fact that to assess the degree of presence of phosphatidylserine erythrocytes are fixed glutaric aldehyde for 30 minutes, washing with buffered physiological solution, placing into a cuvette of an aggregometer, adding lanthanum chloride in final concentrations of 15–25 mcM, including a stirring device, aggregometer is stirred in cuvette for 30 s, mixing is stopped, process of erythrocyte aggregates sedimentation is recorded as aggregatogram, degree of presence of phosphatidylserine on surface of erythrocyte membranes is evaluated by maximum amplitude of aggregatogram.

EFFECT: what is presented is a new effective method of assessing the degree of presence of phosphatidylserine on the surface of erythrocyte membranes.
