SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of vacuum packaging in the casing, a tray suitable for implementation of the method of the vacuum packaging in the casing, and packaging thus obtained. The method of vacuum packaging in the casing in accordance with the invention comprises: providing the tray which is loaded with the product and comprising a lower wall and a side wall extending upwards from the said lower wall and terminating as the horizontal rim projecting outwards, where the said sidewall comprises at least one opening; placing of the tray with a product in the vacuum chamber; location of the film over the tray with the product; formation of an airtight contact between the film and the rim of the tray; removal of air from the space above the film to bring it into contact with a heating plate for heating the film; removal of air from the interior space of the tray through the said, at least one opening; the introduction of air into the space above the film, pressing the film to the product and welding it to the inner surface of the tray; closing the said at least one opening in the sidewall, at that a film is held in contact with a heating plate while starting to remove air from the tray space, at that with the number of openings n in the sidewall of the tray and the opening square A the product nA is equal to or more than 6 mm². Preferably, the film which is positioned over the tray with the product, is a separate piece of film having the size of the tray, which enables to reduce the amount of film removed in the waste during implementation of the process of vacuum packing in the casing.

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the risk of saving the residual pockets containing air in packaging.
