SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in agricultural production, flour-raising and feed milling industry for cleaning loose materials, mainly grain and granular materials, from poisonous ergot kernels in terms of specific gravity (density). Machine for separation of ergot from rye seeds by specific weight in solution, for example, potassium salt consists of bath, conveyors of rye seeds and ergot horns with transverse plates installed at equal intervals along their length, made in the form of scrapers fixed to closed traction chains, envelopes driven and driven sprockets, bunker with feeder, the wall of which is submerged into salt solution and divides bath cavity with conveyor of rye seeds from conveyor of ergot horns. At its output end, the bath bottom under the rye seeds conveyor scrapers is made in the form of sieve, under which a waste tank is located. Under the clavus conveyor scrapers a sieve is installed, which outlet part is located above the solution in the bath level, and immersed in the solution lower end is connected to the deflection plane. Rye board of rye seeds is interconnected via inlet opening with a moisture-removal device consisting of fan, moisture-removal channel with divergent upper part equipped with louvered wall, and discharge channel communicated via louvre wall with divergent upper part of moisture-removal channel and with its lower part via bypass opening.

EFFECT: high quality of cleaning rye seeds, as well as reduced specific power consumption of the process.
