SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in agricultural production for cleaning mainly grain and granular materials from poisonous ergot horns by specific gravity. The machine consists of a bath, a loading hopper, grain conveyors and ergot horns with scraper blades in the form of L-shaped blades installed at regular intervals along their length. The blades face with their gripping side in the direction of rotation of the conveyors and are fixed to closed traction chains enveloping the drive and driven sprockets. The gap ∆ between the bottom of the bath and the working edge of the scrapers of the conveyors of grain and ergot horns is no more than the thickness of the caryopsis of cereal seeds. The loading hopper is equipped with a vertical movement mechanism relative to the bath. The outlet with an adjusting flap of the loading hopper is made in the form of a vertical channel, one of the side walls of which is movable and a continuation of the lower part of the adjusting flap.

EFFECT: use of the invention will improve the quality of separation of poisonous ergot horns from the grain of the main cereal crops, as well as reduce the loss of grain in waste.
