SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in agricultural production, flour-raising and feed milling industry for cleaning loose materials, mainly grain and granular materials, from poisonous ergot kernels in terms of specific gravity (density). Proposed machine for separating ergot from rye seeds by specific gravity in a solution, for example, potassium salt consists of a bath, conveyors of rye seeds and ergot kernels, made in the form of band sieves with transverse slats arranged at regular intervals along their length, a hopper with a feeder. Feeder wall is immersed in a salt solution and divides the bath cavity with the rye seed transporter from the ergot kernel transporter. Above the saline solution, under the underside of the belt sieves, the upper branch of the rye-seed conveyors and ergot kernels there are cylindrical tension roller-cleaners, the surface of which is covered with bristles, the length of which exceeds the thickness of the established belt sieves. Bottom of the bath in the cavity of the conveyance of the ergot kernels is made in the form of an inclined guide plane, which is formed parallel to its transverse strips on the section of the lower branch of the transporter.

EFFECT: technical result is increasing the efficiency of ergot separation from rye seeds, as well as a decrease in the specific energy intensity of the technological process and a decrease in metal consumption.
