SUBSTANCE: machine is proposed for separating poisonous sclerotia of claviceps fungus varieties from seeds of cereal plants by specific gravity in an aqueous solution of inorganic salt, consisting of a frame and baths located on it, a hopper with an outlet equipped with an adjusting damper, conveyors of seeds and sclerotia of claviceps fungus with installed at regular intervals along their length with scrapers in the form of blades, fixed to closed traction chains, enveloping the drive and driven sprockets. GapΔ between the bottom of the bath and the working edge of the scrapers of the seed conveyors and sclerotia of the fungus claviceps is no more than the thickness of the grain of seeds of cereal plants. In the machine, the unloading funnel of the cleaned seeds from the sclerotia of the claviceps fungus is equipped with a mechanism for cleaning the scrapers of the seed conveyor, consisting of a hinged spring-loaded scraper with a bent free end facing the moving scrapers and interacting with them along their entire height, starting from the base.
EFFECT: increasing the productivity of the machine and reducing the specific power consumption for drying seeds when they are laid for long-term storage.
