FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric three-pole device. Device is used in hardware artificial neural networks as a controlled synaptic connection between network nodes and consists of three components connected as "star" and located in close proximity to each other to provide heat exchange between them: two electrically heated elements and a film resistor based on a polycrystalline film of vanadium dioxide, having an insulator-metal phase transition, wherein the value of synaptic bond force is controlled by voltage pulses of different polarity, supplied to electrically heated elements.
EFFECT: technical result is providing controlled synaptic communication between network nodes.
