FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, a system and a computer-readable carrier for modelling an article using data in different formats of data processing. Method comprises steps of: data processing relating to one or more first parts of article in first format is output in data processing system; outputting data relating to one or more second parts of article in second format; the first format comprising the mesh data and the second format having the classic geometric representation; in data processing system, selection instructions of at least one first part of article containing grid data are received; in data processing system receiving instruction for selection of at least one second part of article containing data of classical geometric representation; and providing representation of article including selected first and second parts.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of the product simulation efficiency.
