FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nucleated propylene-ethylene-butylene copolymers for making cast articles used in medical, diagnostic, household or food applications. Nucleated propylene-ethylene-butylene terpolymer is obtained in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst and does not contain phthalic acid esters, as well as their corresponding decomposition products. Terpolymer contains less than 5.0 wt% fractions soluble in xylol (XCS), and also has a bending modulus of more than 850 MPa, measured in accordance with ISO 178 and impact strength of the specimen with a notch, in accordance with ISO 179/leA at temperature of 23 °C, more than 5.0 kJ/m2.
EFFECT: articles made from the disclosed terpolymer have high rigidity, good behavior under impact loading and good optical properties.
