FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol-generating systems in which aerosol is formed by evaporation of a liquid substrate by means of a heater. Aerosol generating system comprises inlet air hole (18) and outlet air hole (24); liquid storage part (30) holding liquid aerosol-forming substrate and having liquid outlet (38); air flow channel (22) extending from the inlet air outlet to the outlet air hole beyond the liquid outlet, wherein said air flow channel is shaped so that there is a pressure drop inside the air flow channel in the liquid outlet when the air flows from the inlet air outlet to the air outlet through the air flow channel; and heating element (26) located in air flow channel between fluid outlet hole and outlet air hole, wherein the heating element covers the air flow channel and is permeable for the fluid medium.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of aerosol generating system.
