FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of ultra-high frequencies (UHF) and can be applied as part of airborne radar systems with frequency scanning. In order to solve the task, invention discloses the design of a microwave antenna array with frequency scanning, which comprises a rectangular waveguide with a slotted grid, arched, wherein waveguide along its length is partially filled with dielectric of variable thickness, which is calculated using George Green's function method and varies along profile along waveguide central axis, and on outer side of bend there are transverse slots, number of which and their geometrical sizes and distance between them are determined by length waves.
EFFECT: technical problem of invention is significant increase in sector of high-speed antenna scanning, optimization of design, reduced overall mass characteristics, as well as complete automation of control antenna beam.
