SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry. Disclosed is a method for preventing temporomandibular joint dysfunction in the patients with complete absence of permanent teeth on the upper and lower jaw by improving the accuracy of diagnosing the height of the lower face, containing orthopantomography and teleradiography of patient's head in lateral projection, measurement on teleradiography of angular and linear parameters necessary for diagnostics by means of cephalometric analysis in program Dolphin Imaging, specifically parameters: SNA, SNB, ANB, Wits Appraisal, Lower Gonial Angle, Gonial, Anterior Face Height, Lower Face Height, Articular Angle, Protrusion, measured individual parameters are compared to a standard specified in the Dolphin Imaging program, lower facial reduction is measured as a difference of patient data and values of parameter of Lower Face Height, prediction of development of a pathology of the uronemia is predicted, according to the computed tomography of the TMJ, then complete dentures are manufactured; for this, first, wax beads are made – templates of complete removable prostheses, then performing telerentgenography and cephalometric analysis in the Dolphin Imaging program with beads in the oral cavity, making complete removable prostheses on the upper and lower jaws taking into account the measured parameters, if necessary, prostheses are corrected, then in 6 months said angular and linear parameters are re-measured by means of Dolphin-Imaging program.

EFFECT: invention provides higher diagnostic quality of lower facial height in adult patients with complete absence of permanent teeth on upper and lower jaws.
