METHOD FOR PREVENTING MALOCCLUSION IN CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OF AGE WITH COMPLETELY ABSENT DENTITION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B6/14 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for treating malocclusion in children up to 6 years of age with completely absent dentition. Orthopantomography and teleradiography of the patient's head in the lateral projection are performed. Wax patterns of removable dentures are made and installed. Cephalometric analysis of the dentoalveolar system of the patient is performed in the Dolphin-Imaging program. Angular and linear parameters are measured: SNA, SNB, ANB, Wits Appraisal, Lower Gonial Angle, Gonial, Anterior Face Heigth, Lower Face Heigth, Articular Angle, Protrusion. Complete removable dentures are made and installed taking into account cephalometric analysis data. Repeated cephalometric analysis is performed in the Dolphin-Imaging program, complete removable dentures are fitted and fixed in the oral cavity. Control cephalometric analysis of the patient's dentoalveolar system is performed in the Dolphin-Imaging program after 6 months.

EFFECT: method ensures the normalization of interalveolar height in children under 6 years of age with completely absent dentition and provides conditions for normal development of the dentoalveolar system, and also prevents the development of TMJD pathologies.
