SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method carried out by a wireless communication device operating in a wireless communication network for administering information of a downlink signal, wherein downlink signal information is information on signal quality and/or signal strength received by wireless communication device over a downlink. Method comprises steps of: obtaining downlink signal information; sending a wireless communication network associated with a wireless communication device requesting access to a wireless communication network, wherein said message includes information representing a range comprising the received downlink signal information, wherein the range indicates how the received downlink signal information exceeds a threshold value, and wherein the range is determined based on a factor received from the wireless communication network.
