FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ultrasonic diagnostics, and can be used for prediction of hepatitis outcome in cirrhosis. Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography is performed. Four criteria are distinguished by analyzing quantitative and qualitative parameters of contrast-enhanced ultrasonic examination: 1) increase in the beginning of the portal venous phase by 20 % and more from the norm; 2) increase of contrast agent transit by 15 % and more from normal values; 3) presence of inhomogeneity of contrast preparation in IV-V-VI-VII segments of liver in detached phase on 4–6 minute with formation of focal pattern; 4) presence of deformation of segmental and intrasegmental vessels in form of crimped structure in arterial phase. If observing 2 or more criteria, an unfavorable outcome is predicted. In the presence of only 1 criterion, an unreliable result is determined, where further observation is required. If these criteria are not available, a favorable outcome is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides non-invasive prediction of hepatitis outcome in cirrhosis by determining ultrasonic criteria.
