SUBSTANCE: invention is related to ultrasound diagnostics, and can be used to diagnose chronic kidney disease (CKD) stages 4-5. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) of the kidneys is performed and an intensity-time graph is obtained. On this graph, point A is marked, corresponding to the beginning of the arterial phase, point B, corresponding to the maximum intensity of contrast, and point C, corresponding to the end of the removal of the contrast agent. Then the angle D between segments AB and BС is measured. When the angle D is 144° and above Stage 4-5 CKD is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method enables non-invasive diagnosis of stage 4-5 CKD through the use of CEUS.
