FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of multi-electrode arc welding in protective gas medium. Welding is carried out using a plurality of electrodes arranged in a row in the welding direction. Plurality of electrodes includes front electrode and filler wire located behind front electrode. Filler wire has electric resistance R per unit length at 25 °C of 1.0–4.0 mOhm/cm, WF feed rate of filler wire is 0.3–7.0 m/min, and current AF fed through filler wire is 30–250 A.
EFFECT: method ensures low degree of cavities occurrence and excellent stability of welding bath.
