FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic material (14) for generating light when irradiated with radiation, wherein the ceramic material comprises a stack of layers (15, 16) with different compositions and/or different alloying profiles. Ceramic material can be used in a spectral detector for computed tomography for spectral detection of X-rays. Also, it can be used as ceramic amplifying medium of laser.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced non-uniform distribution of light laser pumping in space within ceramic amplifying medium, reduced high temperature gradients in said ceramic amplifying medium and elimination of peaks of thermomechanical stresses.
