FIELD: simulators; training.

SUBSTANCE: simulator for training and developing harness application skills and method of use relates to medical equipment and is used to train and develop practical skills of applying harness. Proposed machine comprises pressure gauge, cylindrical case with recess on its outer surface with through hole, air chamber fitted in case recess communicated with pressure gage. In the particular case of the design, the length of the simulator circumference along the external outline is 200 to 800 mm. Air chamber can be a single circular or consist of several connected chambers. Chamber is made from elastic material capable of multiple stretching and recovery, at that, in the inflated state material retains the chamber from being protruded beyond the housing limits, and when the bundle is applied, it prevents protrusion on the sides. Method includes creation of initial pressure in chamber by means of injector in range from 100 to 140 mm Hg, applying tourniquet with squeezing chamber to increase pressure required for stopping arterial hemorrhage, weakened and removed tourniquet.

EFFECT: solution enables to achieve proximity to real conditions and enables to produce a multiple number of bundles for producing a stable skill of applying a bundle.
