FIELD: teaching aids in medicine.

SUBSTANCE: simulator for training and developing the skills of applying a tourniquet includes a vertical stand with support legs, in the upper part of which an axis with a working cylinder is fixed. Part of the working cylinder is covered with an elastic material corresponding to the area of application of the hemostatic tourniquet. The simulator includes a fluid circulation system consisting of a container connected to a fluid injection unit, the outlet of which is connected to a flexible hose passing between the working cylinder and the elastic material. On the upper surface of the working cylinder, after the location of the elastic material, the flexible hose contains a jet connected to a transparent flask connected with the container via a flexible hose. The flexible hose, before it approaches the working cylinder, is connected to a bypass valve that maintains pressure in the circulation system, the outlet end of which is connected to the container. An alternative version of the simulator is disclosed.

EFFECT: ensuring the accuracy of training on the simulator with a simple design.
