FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely, to variants of tourniquets. In the first variant, tourniquet includes an elastic belt and a compression apparatus. The elastic belt is made of three elastic bands. The band that is not as wide as, but longer than the other two bands is located between the bands that are wider but not as long as the band located between said two bands. The compression apparatus includes a screw clamp with a semisphere-shaped protrusion, located in the sleeve so as to be configured to interact with the recess in the rubber pad provided with a semisphere-shaped protrusion on the opposite side of the recess. The sleeve is coupled with a plate with a through hole made coaxially with the hole in the sleeve, said plate being located on the rubber pad on the side of the recess matching the shape of the protrusion of the screw clamp. The rubber pad and the plate with the sleeve are located between the bands forming the elastic belt. The compression apparatus is made in the form of a rod with an external thread and a structural element for transmitting torque. The sleeve has an internal thread. The tourniquet comprises a buckle configured to pull the elastic belt until the belt fits tightly to the limb of the patient and secure the belt. In the second variant, the compression apparatus is made in the form of an inflatable chamber located between the bands forming the elastic belt, and is provided with a tube with a valve, configured to fill the chamber with air.
EFFECT: creation of a tourniquet with local compression of the injured vessel without occluding the surrounding tissues and unaffected vessels of the limb, accurately dosing the compression force on the injured vessel, and with a possibility of convenient and prompt application of the tourniquet on the limb of the patient with the compression apparatus being correctly positioned over the injured vessel.
