FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: transportation device (1) for transportation of at least one container (31) or other cargo has at least one running trolley (2), at least one load gripping device (3) and at least eight lifting ropes (20–27). Load-gripping device (3) has connecting devices (14) for fixation of container (31) or other cargo and by means of lifting ropes (20–27) is suspended on traveling bogie (2) with possibility of lifting and lowering, wherein lifting ropes (20–27) can be wound on ropeworks (4) installed on running bogie (2) with possibility of rotation. Each lifting rope (20–27) can be wound and/or at least partially wound on own rope drum (4). In all cable drums (4) rotation frequency and/or direction of rotation can be set individually.
EFFECT: reduced weight of load handling device.
