FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device for evaluating deformation according to aspect of present invention is a deformation evaluation device, which evaluates deformation of component provided in fluid medium, and includes a pressure data acquisition device which receives a pressure signal, which includes a time series of pressure values in a predetermined position near the component, an evaluation unit which evaluates the deformation signal based on the pressure signal, which includes a time series of values of deformation occurring in component, and an output unit which outputs a deformation signal. Evaluation device converts the pressure signal into a deformation signal using an evaluation filter determined based on the spectral density of the pressure power and the spectral density of the deformation power occurring in the component when pressure is applied to the given position.

EFFECT: creation of deformation evaluation device, device for diagnostics and deformation estimation method, capable to obtain deformation data without use of strain gauge sensor.
