FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of low-density strong materials based on thermally expanded graphite (TEG), which can be used as heat distributors, incl. in ceiling and wall heating and conditioning systems. Carbon heat-distributing plate for making ceiling and wall heating and conditioning systems is made of compressed particles of thermally expanded graphite with binder. Binder contains amorphous graphite particles in amount of 0.3–30.0 wt%. Microstructure of said compressed particles of thermally expanded graphite with binder is packs of ordered graphite layers with layer of amorphous carbon on surface of said graphite layers, wherein density of plate is from 0.05 to 0.3 g/cm3. Plate has heat conductivity in direction parallel to plate surface of not less than 1.6 W/m⋅K and heat conductivity anisotropy coefficient of not less than 1.6.
EFFECT: improved consumer properties of boards, in particular bending strength.
