ALGORITHM FOR ADMINISTERING PREGNANT WOMEN WITH "ORGANIC" AND "FUNCTIONAL" FETAL ARRHYTHMIAS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2702448 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and perinatology and can be used in managing patients with fetal arrhythmia (FA). Gestation period is determined. Presence/absence of the effect of the conducted treatment is detected, and the FA course is complicated/uncomplicated by the onset of heart failure. Type of FA is also determined: organic FA, if observing organic changes of fetal heart, or functional FA, at normal fetal heart structure. On 22–27 week of pregnancy, the organic and functional FA consistently perform a perinatal consultation, conservative therapy, expectant management, delivery through natural birth canals. At period of 28–33 weeks in the case of uncomplicated FA with organic FA, the perinatal consultation, conservative treatment, actively wait-and-see approach are sequentially. Functional PA is preceded by a perinatal consultation, a conservative treatment of 72 hours, in the absence of the effect of which - a Cesarean section. At period of 28–33 weeks in case of complicated FA with organic FA, complex therapy is performed for 72 hours, and in case of no effect – Cesarean section. Functional FA is followed by a cesarean delivery. At 34 weeks and more, in case of uncomplicated FA with organic FA, conservative treatment is performed within 72 hours, and in case of no effect – Cesarean section. Functional CA is followed by a cesarean delivery. At the gestational age of 34 weeks and more in the case of complicated FA with organic and functional FA, the Cesarean section is performed.

EFFECT: method enables reducing perinatal morbidity and mortality by evaluating a complex of the most significant factors.
