METHOD FOR FORECASTING SEVERITY OF EARLY PREECLAMPSY Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B10/00 G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2753463 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to predict the severity of early preeclampsia in pregnant women with an established diagnosis of moderate preeclampsia. A quantitative determination of matrix metalloproteinase type 2 (MMP-2) in the blood plasma of a pregnant woman is carried out. If the MMP-2 value is equal to or greater than 379 ng/ml, a high risk of severe preeclampsia is predicted.

EFFECT: invention provides possibility of obtaining a predictive assessment of the increase in the severity of early preeclampsia with high accuracy in patients with an established diagnosis of "moderate preeclampsia" at a gestational age of 24-34 weeks by quantifying MMP-2 in the blood plasma of a pregnant woman, which makes it possible to identify patients with a high risk of progression course of preeclampsia.
